This wedding was a long time coming, yet well worth the wait. I first met Alicia a couple years ago when I shot some Work For Your Beer sessions for her and her fellow co-founder Mel, and from there we just kinda hit it off. When her and her long term boyfriend Andrew finally decided to get hitched, she said it was the obvious choice that I would be their photographer. The months went by and the plans were made, and when the big day came it was everything fitting for this Noda and beer loving couple. Along with their gigantic fur baby Luna, the best maids and men crew I've worked with, a fun loving group of family and friends, and lots of beer, their moody brewery wedding was a hit!
It was yet another rainy December wedding day for me, but by this time, I was used to it, so I didn't miss a beat. From the cloudy filtered light streaming in through Resident Culture's windows, making for the DREAMIEST portraits to the unity pouring of the beer to the kickass daytime dancing party to the shuffleboard and other games broken out at Salud and everything else unique and personal to Alicia and Andrew in between, it was simply amazing. When your couple is super rad, totally down to earth, and knows how to throw a party - even at 2pm in the afternoon - it makes everything right in the world for a wedding photographer. Love you two crazy people - and I've no doubt your love will forever stand the test of time! xoxo
