This wedding ceremony was so dear to my heart. Held in my home church, Freedom House, Kat and Alec married with simply 12 family members as witnesses and a whole lotta Holy Spirit. Next year they will celebrate with the masses, but today they chose to enter into covenant in a modest and holy way. I’m proud of these two, and beyond honored they trusted me with their intimate moments.

How did he propose? He wrote me a sweet note (something we do for each other frequently) and proposed to me in the gardens at Rosie's Wine Garden (it was a rainy Sunday and we had just gone to church) I thought we were meeting friends for coffee, but nope! When we got back to his house, both our families and a bunch of our closest friends were there waiting to celebrate with us (food, desserts, drinks, etc.) so so sweet! A day I'll never forget :)
