Jetton Park two days in a row to capture two different love stories. This one for Caitlin and Erick’s engagement session - these people are the absolute best, with the biggest hearts. It was an honor to spend a few moments with them. See ya at the altar in April!
How did you meet? Met in High school English/band class
How did he propose? Went out to "girls night" with my two best friends, it wasn't girls night. We went to a fancy restaurant and he showed up to our dinner. Then we were all leaving the restaurant back to my place on the light rail and my friend wanted to go an extra stop to "sober up" and I really had to pee. So the next stop is about 2 miles away from my apartment. So with no bathroom in site I started running down the rail trail. But before I could go far, right in the perfect spot where you can see the city in the background, Erick screamed 'CAITLIN TURN AROUND" and when I did he proposed. I didn't have to pee after that XD
For the Groom | What do you love most about your girl? Caitlin is an exceptional person who has become much more than just a best friend to me over these years - she is my confidant, and my true partner in life. From the moment we met, she has brought so much joy and positivity into my life, and I am incredibly grateful to have her by my side. What I love most about Caitlin is her deep sense of compassion and empathy. She has a natural ability to understand and connect with others on a level that is truly special. What really sets Caitlin apart is her unwavering support. No matter what challenges I face I know that I can always count on her to be my sounding board, my accountability partner, and my advocate. She has pushed me to be the best version of myself, and I am a better person because of her. In short, Caitlin is an amazing friend, partner, and human being. Her compassion, empathy, and unwavering support are just a few of the qualities that make her so special to me, and I feel incredibly lucky to call her mine for the rest of our lives.
For the Bride | What do you love most about your guy? What a question. Honestly what I love most about him is how he puts others before himself. He is always wanting to help or assist in someway. Whether it is with his job, his family, his friends, strangers, or me. He always wants to make other peoples lives easier and have them be happy no matter what. Now sometimes he juggles to much but you never get the sense that he is upset to help ever. He is just smiles and is happy to be able to make another person happy that day. If I have a problem, he always wants to help and fix it. I also love how he is very goal driven. When he wants to accomplish something and gets it in his mind, he does it. He works at it until he has it. He always pushing me in setting goals, even little ones, just so I don't feel like I am at a standstill. It pushes me to being my best self and I think it makes me a better person in the end. He is my best friend. My partner in crime "Even though I'm probably the one doing the crime :)". But I know who would bail me out. He is the love of me life. I am lucky to have him.
